A stunning pair of French 19th century Néo Classical st. ormolu and patinated bronze, five arm candelabras, signed F. Barbedienne. (1810-1894)
Each candelabra is raised by elegant paw feet and finely detailed griffons centering large palmettes.
Above is a beautiful buste of Cérès (Goddess of agriculture) with acorns in her hair, leading up to the lightly tapered circular fluted central support, with a fine bronze side mount.
Each of the five arms have a fluted design and are adorned with pierced finial pendants and chains.
At the top is a striking and richly chased open wing heron.
