A MAGNIFICENT AND VERY HIGH-QUALITY FRENCH 19TH CENTURY ORMULU MOUNTED AMARANTH, MAHOGANY and EBONY CABINET SIGNED HENRY DASSON (1825-1896) CIRCA 1880
The Cabinet is raised by most unique ormolu feet.
At the center are two exquisite quarter-veneered amaranth doors framed by a Coeur de raie design ormolu band and elegant inlaid brass fillets inclosing a divided interior each with an adjustable shelf.
The top corners are mounted by powerful ormolu foliate designs leading up to an ebonized band centered by a handsome ormolu mask beneath a fine leaf-cast ormolu border.
Above is the outstanding and original brèche de violette marble top.
