A handsome paire of French 19th Century Louis XIV St. giltwood and Brèche d’Alep consoles.
The consoles are raised by fine square foliate feet below block reserves, joined by a striking X shape stretcher.
The stretcher displays a square and foliate scrolled design with a beautiful and finely carved centrale foliate finial.
The most impressive square tapered legs are decorated with scrolled foliate movements set on a fine horizontal flutted patern.
Above is the stunning and surprisingly thick original Breche d’Alep marble top with fine molted borders.
